unbelievable saga!
I ordered 2 chairs from Wayfair. Within 24 hours I decided against the order and tried to cancel it. I received an email from Wayfair that the cancellation was too late and their supplier had already prepared the delivery. Received an email from DPD that the parcel would be delivered on a Thursday. Waited all day, parcel never came. Attempts to reach Wayfair Kundenservice were an absolute disaster. First, they sent DHL to come and pick up the chairs from me - of course, I don't have them! Then instead of cancelling the order, they ordered another delivery of the chairs! All interaction up to this point was carried out via email. They didn't read my emails properly, responded in bizarre ways. Finally, I found a contact phone number and rang their customer service. I got an Indian lady on the phone who although she was very friendly, was utterly useless. She confirmed that she had attempted to cancel the 2nd delivery but that there was no guarantee that the supplier would receive the cancellation in time ... so, I can expect to go through all of this again! Groan. Never again!!!
